Panel Construction

Panels are a nominal 83mm thick. 12mm thick particle board panel faces are laminated to the appropriate substrate to meet the STC 50. Factory applied 6063-T6 aluminum vertical and horizontal protective trim. Vertical magnetic sound seals are of tongue and groove configuration to ensure panel to panel alignment and prevent sound leaks between panels.

Seals

Individual: Horizontal top seals are retractable; provide 25mm nominal operation clearance, and exert upward force when extended. All panels, including pass door panels and lever closure panels have retractable top and bottom seals. 86 series have standard retractable bottom seals. When horizontal bottom seals are retractable, provide up to 25mm nominal operating clearance and exert downward force when extended.

Type #127 Omni-Directional track up to 460kg per panel

For Omni-Directional panels weighing up to 460kg. Two carriers are provided per panel. Each carrier had four vertical metal bearing wheels roll on the track. Each wheel has prcision-ground 6002-2RS bearings, encased with POM, steel banded and reinforced. Carriers easily negotiate square or angled corners. Minimum dimension from the structure to the ceiling is 150mm.

Next 66 Series
